Each pet is unique in his or her own way; and each breed has unique personalities, characteristics, and conditions. With this in mind, we tailor our exams and medical recommendations to best fit their needs within your lifestyle. We offer a wide array of veterinary services to tackle whatever may arise throughout the life of your companion.

New Clients

Welcome! We look forward to meeting you! For your first visit, please bring any medical records you have or a phone number where we can request them. A record of vaccines and medical history will help the doctor make efficient use of your time.

Also please fill out the Client Registration and Checklist under the Forms tab.

Make sure to have your pet on a leash or in a carrier. This helps everyone stay safe!

New Pets

Whether your pet is in the puppy/kitten stage or has a few years under their collar, we want to make sure your companion grows up (and old!) healthy and strong.

We perform examinations to detect any potential health issues. We run tests to check for internal parasites and heartworms. Please bring any health records provided to you by the breeder, seller, shelter, or previous owner. This information will help us determine the best vaccine protocol to keep your pet protected. We will also address questions about proper nutrition, behavioral issues, or any other concerns you may have.

Canine and Feline Health Care

From vaccines and parasite prevention to general health care, diagnostics and surgery, we provide long-term life-stage veterinary care for your companion. Wellness care includes physical exams, customized vaccination schedules, proper food/nutrition evaluation, and disease screenings that reflect your pet’s breed, lifestyle, and unique needs.

Your wellness visit includes a physical exam that checks:

  • Teeth and gums
  • Eyes
  • Ears
  • Respiration
  • Mobility
  • Weight assessment
  • Internal parasite test
  • Heartworm test
  • Microchipping, if wanted

If your pet needs additional care, we can:

  • Perform dental cleanings
  • Provide testing to diagnose an illness
  • Treat skin and ear infections
  • Manage chronic diseases through medicine or prescription food

Senior Pets

Just like humans, our pets face a multitude of potential problems as they age. Among them are:

  • Osteoarthritis
  • Added weight
  • Mobility changes
  • Kidney, heart, and liver disease
  • Tumors (fatty or cancerous)
  • Diabetes and thyroid imbalance

Our goal is to detect, diagnose, and treat any medical conditions before they progress into serious problems. We highly encourage running a Senior Blood Profile Analysis to help us detect what we cannot find in the physical exam.

Ancillary Services

In-house Laboratory – for diagnostic testing. We can usually get results in a matter of minutes. We can run blood chemistry panels, CBCs (Complete Blood Count), and blood tests for heartworms; urinalysis to check for kidney and bladder health, and fecal analysis for the presence of parasites.

In-house pharmacy – to immediately begin treatment for your companion. We stock medications and products for wellness care, critical care, and emergency situations; products to manage ear infections and chronic conditions; and prevention products for fleas, ticks, and heartworms. All our medications are obtained from safe, reliable sources and in some cases straight from the manufacturer.

Microchipping – so you can be reunited with your pet in the event you are ever separated. We strongly encourage this quick procedure where we place a tiny microchip, the size of a grain of rice, under the skin between the shoulder blades. Once registered, the unique number is linked with your contact information and can be found with a universal scanner that is used by shelters and veterinary clinics throughout the world.
